ood Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices Laboratories are pivotal to the success of the school's research, vision and mission. An academic-based facility focused on product formulation and production does not exist in the Southeast, thus leaving a void for the developing pharmaceutical industry in this region.

These facilities will position Auburn as a leader in new pharmaceutical product development. It will provide for and attract graduate students and new faculty. This in turn, will provide the foundation for a growing pharmaceutical product develop-ment industry based in this area.
