Natalie Durell, Pharm.D., is an ambulatory care pharmacist at the Auburn University Pharmaceutical Care Center working in the ICARE Transitions of Care Unit. She joined Auburn in September 2025 after completion of a PGY-1 residency at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS).
In her role, Durell provides comprehensive medication therapy management consultations and other pharmaceutical care services designed to support both high levels of patient satisfaction and the achievement of broader organizational care and service goals. She also routinely reviews prescribed medications and dosages to ensure that each therapy is safe, effective, and appropriate for the patient’s specific condition. Additionally, she actively engages in pharmaceutical care outreach efforts, targeting individuals and groups within the community to promote optimal medication use and improve public health outcomes.
She is originally from Tampa, Florida and attended the University of South Florida for both her undergraduate studies and pharmacy school. She made the big move from Florida to Alabama for residency and has recently settled in Columbus, Georgia with her fiancé Trent, who is a medical resident and Captain in the US Army.
