Dr. Tanja Redd serves as Academic Program Administrator in the Office of Professional Affairs. She provides operational leadership for the college's professional development initiatives, including continuing pharmacy education, certificate programs, practitioner training, educational conferences, and strategic outreach efforts. She also supports accreditation activities, educational program development, and partnerships that advance lifelong learning for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Before joining the Harrison College of Pharmacy, Redd held positions in Auburn University's Office of Alumni Affairs and the Center for Educational Outreach and Engagement. Prior to higher education, she worked in the financial services industry with JPMorgan in New York and Atlanta. Her diverse professional background in business, higher education, and program administration provides a multidisciplinary perspective on educational programming, organizational leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
Redd earned a Certificate in College and University Teaching from Auburn University and has presented at regional and national conferences on higher education administration, pre-college programming, diversity, resilience, leadership, and professional development. Her recent work focuses on innovative approaches to continuing professional education, interdisciplinary learning, and the integration of emerging technologies into educational programming.
At Auburn, Redd has received several honors recognizing her leadership and service, including the Harrison College of Pharmacy Remarkable Colleague Award, the HCOP Equity Exemplar Award, and Auburn University's Employee of the Month Award. She is actively involved in university and professional service through committee work, collaborative initiatives, and community engagement.
Redd is married to Kelvin Redd, an Auburn alumnus and author. They have four children who are graduates of the University of North Carolina, University of Alabama, Auburn University, and the University of South Carolina. They enjoy traveling, attending sporting events (especially Auburn Tigers games), and spending time with their family.
